After studying the behaviors of animals for so many years (I was an animal lover since primary school), this is how I understand the morality of different animals.
The African lions represent extreme realists while elephants are the idealists. They counter each other directly.
In terms of morality, she is like a tigress (realist-oriented neutral). A fierce predator doing her job but not as unprincipled as a lioness.
In terms of likability, she is like Nami — innocent kind of courage (1 percent more likeable than usual person). She is in the light realm.
In comparison, Yamato (her arch enemy) is an idealist like an African Bush elephant. When it comes to her unlikeability, she is the emotionally immature kind (50 percent more unlikeable than usual).
What happens when an emotionally immature type (my younger sister) talks to a hedonistic, pleasure seeking type (Kim Kardashian)?
She will feel more relaxed because she will draw in the extra light energy from the hedonistic type. Emotionally immature people are 50 percent more unlikeable than usual. They have a lot more dark energy (yin) than light energy (yang).
On the other hand, the hedonistic type will suddenly feel stressed because she has an imbalance of dark energy and light energy. Hence, she feels that she needs to work hard to bring in the extra light energy, to balance out those energies.
Once my younger sister stops talking to Kim Kardashian, she will go back to her usual depressed mode (emotionally immature type) with way more dark energy than light energy.
Three morality views when comes to the world of business
Idealistic view (Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates) Business helps to improve the lives of many people by creating useful products for everyone. It also saves people from poverty and homelessness. Hence, doing business is based on compassion.
Neutral view (Harvard MBA, Wall Street executives, Michael Bloomberg) The world of business provides you a stable and comfortable job where you wear suits and ties. You have people working comfortably in various office cubicles and they have a good lifestyle. They get to eat Subways during lunch, play games after work and have a good paycheck at the end.
Realistic view (Donald Trump, John D Rockefeller, my ex business partner) Business is a dog-eat-dog kind of world where everyone is fighting to be at the top. The winner gets to earn the most money, live in the most luxurious house and dominate the most number of “losers”.
This is my hierarchy of a person’s positive attitude towards an individual.
A lot of politicians make the mistake of skipping the “like” part and going straight to respect. Hence, they feel fake and cringey compared to Trump.
Even until now, I still like Mr Trump very much. How do you make a person like you? You must not be afraid of showing your flaws and pretending to be a saint.
Lions are the biggest bullies in Africa. Their morality is extreme realist. Examples of extreme realists in real life: Stalin, John D Rockefeller, Osama Bin Laden, Trump. These people have no principles when it comes to achieving success.
In Africa, lions can form mega prides so that they can take down any prey, even adult elephants and giraffes. However, there are limitations to their capabilities.
These three largest megaherbivores are usually off-limits for even large lion pride.
Rhinocerous (morality: idealist-oriented neutral) Rhinoceros are smaller than elephants but they can defend themselves better from lion pride. Rhinos are fast and can turn their bodies around 360 degree to defend against lions attacking the backsides of large prey (favourite lion’s strategy). On the other hand, elephants are slow and cannot turn around to defend their backs. Rhinos are least hunted in Africa.
Elephants (morality: mid to strong idealism) Elephants are very large to be attacked normally by lions. However, in extreme circumstances like drought, large lion pride resorts to taking down elephants from young to even adults. 30 lions usually attack subadult male elephants. However, they might take down adult female elephants under very special circumstances. Only a healthy bull elephant (fully grown) is immune to predation by even the largest lion pride. This is because its back is too high for all the lions to jump onto it.
Hippopotamus (morality: cuteness-oriented neutral) Hippos are the third largest after rhinocerous and elephants. Fully grown adults are usually avoided by lions but sometimes, adults do fall prey to lion prides. Adult hippos can easily crush a lion with its jaws but it is not fast enough to turn around and defend its rear from multiple lions. Hence, its only option is to buy time and escape to water. Having said that, hippos rarely fall prey to lions because they have thick skin, aggressive attitude and massive body size.
