  • The woes of being a genius

Geniuses tend to be the greatest enemy of their own.

As a genius myself, I tend to get more lazy and even overconfident of myself.

Hence, I have to always be a better version of myself.

    Napoleon was his own enemy

The greatest enemy of Isoroku Yamamoto was himself.

Neji Hyuga was a victim of his own genius. He felt trapped by his own destiny.

Donald Trump, a marketing and branding genius, definitely got too cocky sometimes and paid a price multiple times in his life.

Ted Kaczynski, a math genius, became an enemy of his country.

There were multiple instances of geniuses that felt left out by society because they were born to be unconventional.

Hence, genius had to learn to work hard.

Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.

  • Animalia Survival

You know the game Animalia Survival

Me and Papa will play as the white rhino (idealist-oriented neutral).

My younger brother will play as an elephant (idealist).

My younger sister will play as a hippo (cute oriented neutral).

Mum will play as a Meerkat (cute/ignorant morality).

Trump will play as male lion (extreme realist morality/ unprincipled kind of person).

Saddam Hussein will play as a tiger (realist-oriented neutral).

  • A new war

    morality

principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behaviour.

We are basically living in a war over morality. No longer about ideologies (Cold War has ended).

  • Tactical genius

Tactical genius is not the same as strategic genius. Tactical genius does not have the ability to see big picture easily. They excel in tactics and smaller scale engagements.

Napoleon is a strategic genius, not a tactical genius. Though he was very talented in battle tactics. Same for Kong Ming from Three Kingdoms, another strategic genius.

Examples of tactical genius: Hannibal Barca, Alexander the Great, PrinceofMacedon (Total War Youtuber)

In anime, Katakuri from One Piece is a tactical genius. He was genius in coming up with battle tactics, as opposed to Luffy (a fighting genius).

Similarity between tactical genius and strategic genius

Both strategic genius and tactical genius never lose.

Difference between tactical genius and strategic genius

Strategic genius can lose a battle but never lose the war. While tactical genius can never lose a battle but lose a war.

Having said that, some tactical genius has good strategic acumen. Example was Alexander the Great.

Katakuri was a tactical genius. He never lost a battle due to his innovative tactics.

  • Natural compassion

People can have natural compassion despite not having idealism.

Trump is an unprincipled realist, but he has high natural compassion. Even higher than that of Obama, a stoic idealist.

Natural compassion is linked to motherhood and fatherhood as well as many other biological factors.

My mother is a good mother because she has high natural compassion (related to motherhood and the need to nurture others), despite not having idealism.

A lioness cares for its cubs despite being an unprincipled predator.
This is why lioness has high natural compassion.

I can argue that LKY has low natural compassion, but I also can argue that LKY has high natural compassion.

Probably due to his pragmatic idealism (he is constantly switching between two morality ends).

This is why my younger brother can make a poor father. Like Steve Jobs, who was notorious for neglecting his kids and focusing too much on his work.

Both are idealists with low to moderate natural compassion.

Chuck Mcgill has low natural compassion despite his idealism. Saul Goodman has both – idealism and natural compassion.

  • Idealism vs Realism

Trump is like a male lion. Obama is an elephant.
An elephant is too large to be attacked by a single lion.
But a lion is too fast for an elephant to kill it. So the lion can do whatever it wants without consequences.
Basically idealist (elephant) vs realist (lion).
A realist is unprincipled in achieving success. An idealist is principled in attaining success.
I think America needs a mental fix. Find a balance between idealism and realism.
We are humans, not lions, not elephants…

  • What is a bully?

In Oxford’s dictionary, a bully is a person who habitually seeks to harm or intimidate those whom they perceive as vulnerable.

In my definition, a bully is someone who uses his dominant position to mistreat or intimidate people weaker than him.

For example, before the American Civil War, a lot of white, racist plantation owners mistreated African Americans as slaves by making them work long hours with not much freedom (Economic, cultural, military). They were actual bullies.

Joseph Stalin was a big bully. He mistreated the Ukrainians in Holodomor. He used his dominant position in the Baltics and bullied the countries there into submission.

In Red Dead Redemption 2, Micah was a bully type, the total opposite of an idealist like Arthur Morgan.

Donald Trump is the new bully now, that the world has to deal with…

  • The new Cold War

    The way I see it,

Putin (neutral, moderately principled) is loyal to Stalin (bully, unprincipled) by fighting the Ukraine war to protect Russia from NATO.

Meanwhile, Trump (bully, unprincipled) is loyal to Ronald Reagan (idealistic, strongly principled) by trying to protect US from WW3.

So, it is old bully (Stalin) vs new bully (Trump). Hehe

  • Strategic genius

I am a strategic genius like Yamamoto. An actual genius.

A strategic genius can see the big picture easily and extrapolate valuable insights from the world.

  • Hardworking genius!

Most people in this world are not actual geniuses. They may be talented in certain things, but they still have to work very hard for it.

So, they can still be hardworking geniuses! If I am not a math genius, I will be a hardworking genius in math!
